    Our Flooring Range

We have carefully curated our flooring range to offer quality, durability, and genuine style across three core categories. Browse samples in our showroom and get hands-on with textures, finishes, and colourways before you commit.

    Carpets

There is nothing quite like the warmth and softness of a well-chosen carpet underfoot. Our carpet range is particularly suited to bedrooms, living rooms, and family spaces where comfort and acoustic softness matter as much as appearance.

Wide choice of textures: from plush velvets and cut-pile twists to flatweaves and berbers

Extensive colour palette: neutrals, bold tones, and everything in between to suit your décor

Practical options: stain-resistant and high-traffic grades available for busy households

Underlay included: we advise on the right underlay to extend the life of your carpet and improve insulation

Carpet is also one of the most effective ways to add warmth to a room in both the visual and thermal sense, helping to reduce heat loss through the floor.

    Engineered Wood

Engineered wood flooring delivers the authentic look and feel of solid hardwood, with greater stability that makes it suitable for a wider range of rooms and conditions. It performs well in areas where solid wood can be problematic, including rooms with underfloor heating or spaces that experience changes in humidity.

Genuine wood surface: a real hardwood veneer gives you the character, grain, and warmth of natural timber

Enhanced stability: the layered construction resists warping and expansion better than solid wood

Ideal rooms: living rooms, hallways, dining areas, home offices, and kitchens

Timeless appeal: engineered wood adds lasting value to a property and never goes out of style

    Laminate

For a high-quality finish at a more accessible price point, laminate flooring is a practical and stylish choice. Today’s laminate ranges have come a long way, with highly realistic wood and tile effects, textured surfaces, and impressive durability.

Realistic finishes: convincing wood-effect and stone-effect options in a wide range of styles

Highly durable: scratch-resistant and easy to clean, making it ideal for busy family homes

Low maintenance: no specialist cleaning products required

Cost-effective: an excellent solution when you want a smart, coordinated look across multiple rooms without a large outlay

  • Question: What is the difference between engineered wood and laminate flooring?

    Answer:

Engineered wood has a genuine hardwood veneer on top, bonded to a layered plywood base. You get the real grain, warmth, and character of natural timber, along with greater stability than solid wood. Laminate uses a high-resolution photographic layer printed onto a fibreboard core, so it is not real wood. Both are durable and practical, but engineered wood tends to add more value to a property and can be sanded and refinished if it becomes worn over time.

Question: Can engineered wood flooring be fitted over underfloor heating?

    Answer:

Yes. Engineered wood is one of the best choices for rooms with underfloor heating. Its layered construction is far more dimensionally stable than solid wood, meaning it is less likely to expand, contract, or warp as temperatures change. We always recommend checking the manufacturer’s specific guidance on maximum operating temperatures, which our team can advise on during your consultation.

Question: Do you offer a fitting service, or do I need to arrange my own fitter?

    Answer:

We can handle the full process for you. Once you have chosen your flooring, we arrange for one of our trusted local installation specialists to carry out the measurement and fitting. Our fitters are experienced, vetted, and regularly reviewed. You do not need to source anyone separately. If you are also updating your window treatments or soft furnishings at the same time, we can coordinate the scheduling across trades so that everything comes together without disruption.

Question: Can laminate flooring be fitted in a kitchen or bathroom?

    Answer:

We do offer Egger laminate ranges that  are available in moisture-resistant grades that are suitable for kitchens. However, we would not generally recommend laminate for bathrooms, where standing water and high humidity levels can cause the boards to swell or lift over time. If you are looking for a practical, easy-clean floor for a wet room, our team can advise on the most suitable options from our range.

Question: Do you cover my area in Hertfordshire?

    Answer:

Our flooring service covers Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding areas of Hertfordshire, including St Albans, Harpenden, Hertford, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Ware, and Stevenage. If you are unsure whether we cover your postcode, simply get in touch and we will be happy to confirm.
